ANOTHER HOUSE FOR SALE; ANOTHER NEW ADVENTURE AHEAD.

Here's my house. It's going on the market, as I attempt to move back to eastern Ontario. 
My house and Art Studio is located at 2105 Ridge Rd. W., in Shanty Bay, Ontario. 
This is one hour north of Toronto, on the west side of Lake Simcoe. Close to Hwy 11 and Hwy 400, it's an ideal location for travelling back to the city and it's conveniences, stay at home and hike the many forests, play on the lake, or drive just a little north into the Muskokas or further north into wilderness. A great location, best of all worlds.

  

The front of my house is flagstone, which gives privacy and a sound barrier. I love that the outside of my house gives no clues to the interior, leaving people surprised when they enter this haven. In the mornings, grab a coffee, and venture over to the studio, turn on the music, feel the vibe of nature, and create.  

     

Here's a view from the backyard looking at the back of the house, which is built on the ridge, thus called Ridge rd. Many gardens, full walk out basement with 8' high ceilings.

This view of the back of the studio is what intrigued me about this property. The studio building has a full basement, both spaces 350 square feet each. Great storage space. 


My beloved studio, a lifetime in the making. What I'll miss most! Note the tie dye painted door. I attached a trophy case to the outside of the building to feature different paintings, like a front window. Easily taken off, for a different use of building.

Here's the living room, which measures 19 X 23. With windows on both sides, this room floods with light. Gas insert, for a cozy rainy or wintery day. Cherry hardwood floors. Built in drawers can easily have shelves added on top. Window is looking west.
